Can I extract HTML from my Geocities website to use on my new one?
Luke C asked:
Okay, so I have this Geocities website. If I right click and choose view source, it gives me the site’s HTML. Would it be legal for me to use the HTML they provided and use it it in my newer, more traditional website? If so, would there be any changes I would need to make?
Run CGI, Perl PHP

How do I upload onto yahoo business web hosting servers?
Thomas asked:
I would like to know how and where it is I go to upload information and data onto one of yahoo’s web hosting servers, I have a client that already has a business account but I was unable to figure out what to do. I most likely skimmed over it but would still like guidance rather than run blindly. I’d appreciate it greatly, thanks in advance.

Are there any risks in transferring my domain name?
Mr. X asked:
Hi,
Hi,
I have a domain name with Yahoo! Small Business and now I am about to transfer this domain to HostMonster.com so I can work on my website from there.
I just wanted to ask you guys if it is risky to do that and if there is a risk of losing my domain name that way. Just tell me if it is, otherwise tell me so I can continue transferring it and getting started with my website if it is risk-free. I just don’t want to lose it.
Thank you.

How do I get computer to turn off automatically after a period of inactivity?
John L asked:
A friend has a computer that turns itself off after a certain period of time of inactivity. And all you have to do is move the mouse a little, and the computer comes back on. Maybe the computer is not completely off, maybe this is called hibernate or standby or something. Is this a good thing to do or should I just let my computer run? How do you get the computer to do this auto shut off thing as I described at the start of this paragraph?
